フランスで１０日、ルコルニュ新首相が就任する中、各地で反政府デモが発生し、高速道路が封鎖され、バリケードが燃やされる事態となっている。
全土での拘束者は計約５００人に上った。
マクロン大統領や緊縮予算案、政治家全体に対する幅広い不満が背景にある。
抗議デモは、「全てをブロックせよ」をスローガンにフランス全土に広がった。
参加者は約２０万人に上るとみられる。
当局は全国に８万人以上の治安要員を配置。警察との衝突により、パリでは約２００人が拘束されたほか、全国で３００人超が逮捕された。
南部モンペリエでは、警察が群衆に向けて催涙ガスを発射した。
ただ、多くの集会は平和的に行われたもよう。
南部マルセイユで抗議活動に参加していた労働組合員の男性は「怒りは何カ月も、何年も前から渦巻いていた」とし、「マクロン大統領の２期目で５人目の首相が誕生したが、何も変わっていない」と不満をあらわにした。
デモに参加した２１歳の学生は、「若者こそが未来だ。旧世代は私たちにひどい世界、ひどい政府を残した。それを変えるために戦うのは、私たちの責任だ」と訴えた。
マクロン仏大統領は９日、ルコルニュ氏を新首相に指名。
ルコルニュ氏は、政権交代式後の演説で、政府は野党との連携において「より創造的、時にはより実務的、より真剣」になる必要があるとしつつ、同時に「断絶が必要となるだろう」と述べた。
